The Hungry Cat (100 W Channel Rd.,Santa Monica, 90402) has hit Santa Monica! With locations in Hollywood and Santa Barbara, this westside seafood spot is decorated with a monochromatic interior, with splashes of gray and white, and some blues here and there. Striped beach lounge chairs and hanging fish pop off the minimal design. There is a raw bar, a bar with fresh fruit bevys, and a bunch of two and four-tops throughout the space. Their plan is to start with dinner service 5 pm-close, Monday-Friday, Saturday and Sunday, they will be open for cocktails and raw bar at 3 pm, and then dinner at 5 pm. By June, they will offer weekend brunch.
